BOSTON, MA, U.S.A. – February 8th, 2024 – Trexon, a leading provider of specialized interconnectivity solutions, announced the sale of its Industrial Products Group (IPG) to Amphenol Corporation. The divestiture encompasses the brand portfolios of TPC Wire & Cable, Pittsburgh Wire and Cable, and MilRail.
The sale of the industrial products division was completed late last year. The remaining business operations, comprising Trexon’s Engineered Products Group (EPG), will now operate solely as Trexon.

Qualastat is an AS9100 certified value-added manufacturer of cable assemblies, fiber optic assemblies, RF/semi-rigid assemblies, flex circuit assemblies as well as box and cabinet builds. With a total of 12 acquisitions since 2018, Trexon continues to demonstrate a steadfast commitment to expanding its presence in the aerospace and defense markets.

Precision Assemblies, Inc. (“CEPA”). CEPA is an industry-recognized value-added manufacturer of RF/microwave build-to-print flexible and semi-rigid cable assemblies, as well as molded, and braided wire harnesses. This acquisition represents Trexon’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence in the military and aerospace markets.

Founded in 2003 and based in Chelmsford, UK., Intelliconnect has grown rapidly since its inception, becoming a market leader in design-led RF (radio frequency) components.

(“PCI”), a leading supplier of Tactical Communications interconnect for military applications.
